(ATTOCK – November 10, 2013) After the announcement of the Local Bodies Election by the Chief Election Commissioner, the Chairman Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP), Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik invited applications from the party workers, labourers, peasants, women, students, downtrodden, poor masses and middle class persons of the Punjab, Sindh and Baluchistan at the Communist Party Secretariat, 1426-Fateh Jang Road, Attock Cantt or interested candidates may contact him on his Mob No. 0300-9543331 directly, who are interested to contest the election on the Communist Party ticket and symbol of ‘Sickle’ in party basis local bodies elections.
He said that their party represents the downtrodden masses and wants the downtrodden masses to come forward as Local Bodies System is, in fact, for the downtrodden and poor masses and not for the rich and feudal.
The CPP Chairman said, presently there is no representation of the poor and downtrodden masses at any level of the Parliament and Communist Party wants drastic change, though it is not an easy task yet we are optimist and the day will come when the poor will rule.
Engineer Jameel said that Communist Party wants to make the people aware of the values of their vote. He said, about 200 families are ruling the country and the Communist Party vows that it will fight against all the injustices being done to the poor people.
CPP desires the downtrodden masses to come forward in the Parliament and Local Bodies Election. The positive political change in our system will only come if the Parliament and Local Bodies is represented by the downtrodden and poor masses and not by capitalist and feudal class, which is almost prevailing now.
Communist Party said that the price hike of all commodities has made the life of downtrodden masses and public at large very miserable.
