Najma Hanif, a woman political worker of Awami National Party (ANP) and a candidate of ANP in the Provincial Assembly seat was shot dead by unknown gunmen inside her house in Hayatabad locality in Peshawar, provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier her 16 year old son and husband, ANP Tehsil Nazim Hanif Jadoon was killed in a suicide attack in Swabi on the second day of Eidul Fitr in 2011.
