Supreme Court of Pakistan directed the Government to complete the investigation of High Treason Case against General Musharraf and others without “unnecessary delay”.

The Full Bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan comprising of the following judges:-

Mr. Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja

Mr. Justice Khilji Arif Hussain

Mr. Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan

has today on 3^rd of July, 2013 disposed of the petition of the Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) and others identical petitions with a consolidated order. The crux of the Order of the Supreme Court is as under:-

The petitioners in all these petitions have prayed that the Federal Government be directed to lodge a complaint under Article 6 of the Constitution against the respondent Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf and others.
