Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) has requested the Supreme Court of Pakistan vide its letter dated 11th August, 2006 with subject “OPEN LETTER TO THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF PAKISTAN (CJP) AND OTHERS DISTINGUISHED DELEGATES, WHO ARE ATTENDING THE INTERNATIONAL JUDICIAL CONFERENCE, BEING HELD ON AUGUST 11 – 14, 2006 IN ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN” to decide the case of Air Marshal Asghar Case which referred the involvement of Army in Politics in year 1990 and our Party lauds Supreme Court (SC) verdict that at last SC ordered legal proceedings against a former ISI (Lt. General Asad Durrani) and army chiefs (General Aslam Baig) over bribing politicians to rig 1990 election.
