CPP EXPRESSES DEEP REGRET ON KARACHI AND LAHORE INCIDENTS AND DEMANDED NATIONALIZATION OF ALL INDUSTRIAL UNITS.
(ATTOCK – September 13, 2012) Communist party of Pakistan (CPP) showed great concern over the tragic incident of Karachi and Lahore where hundreds of innocent workers perished due to fire, smoke and suffocation.
CPP central chairman Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik said it is capitalism in which laborers are exploited, to which ever religion a capitalist belongs, he exploits workers, he adopts certain policies which crush the rights of pity workers and bags all the benefits, perks and privileges.
CPP demands that all the industries be thoroughly inspected, safety laws be strictly followed. Bank accounts and assets of owners of industrial units are frozen to discourage capitalism and all the Industrial and manufacturing units should and must be immediately nationalized to avoid such tragic incidents in future.
In communism, rights of workers are fully respected. The government has also left the capitalists unbridled. There is no check and balance on them.
CPP asked the government and all capitalist of the country had such incidents occur in any communist country. To avoid such kind of incidents Karl Marx declared in his manifesto that all the industrial units would be nationalized to protect the rights of workers and laborers.
CPP further said that there is no Bhatta mafia in any communist country, because some people view-point is Bhatta mafia is behind the incident.
CPP realizes the pain of deceased’s families and along with them in this difficult time. May Allah give them patience and courage.
It is on Wednesday evening that severe fire broke out in a garment factory in Karachi due to sheer negligence of Federal, provincial and municipal institutions, had there been thorough inspection of industries, health and safety standards been observed such huge loss of lives would have been avoided. Engineer Jameel concluded the statement with these remarks.
